About the event
Join us for a special event to end 2020 and begin 2021 with a meditative practice that will give rise to an inspired “sankalpa,” or intention in the Yoga Nidra tradition.
We will begin with a presentation on how this ancient, sleep-based meditation allows us to access our subconscious mind, a place beyond learned fears and boundaries. We will discover the benefits of this deep dive and how it can improve the quality of our lives.
Then, we will practice Yoga Nidra by reclining into a comfortable position. We will be guided through the process of slowing our brain waves from a waking, beta state to a place where we can set intentions that reflect the deepest desires of our hearts.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to recover clarity, insight, and energy during the hectic pace of the holidays. Please plan to attend and bring friends and family for the gift of rest and renewal at this very special event!
About the Speaker: Valyn Carenza-Pack, LMT, MA RYT facilitates meditation and yoga at retreats, conferences, corporations, and universities. She has experience in a variety of spiritual disciplines, healing and imagery techniques, and movement education.
