Transformation: Turning Difficulty into Calm and Clarity

As we continue to meet the challenges of 2025, it becomes ever more vital to engage in practices that support clarity, calm and inner peace. This summertime retreat is inspired by the powerful tides of transformation that we experience over a lifetime. Like the oyster that responds to the irritation of sand in its shell by creating a pearl, we can find skillful means in our practice to turn our problems into gems of wisdom, compassion and connection.

Our program includes Dharma teachings, meditation and movement, as well as a space to speak from the heart and listen deeply to others. During our time together we will turn toward our experience with curiosity and compassion, cultivating the spaciousness needed to meet life with steadiness and equanimity. And, we will explore how difficulty itself - whether emotional, relational, or situational - can become the ground for deep insight and inner peace.
