About the event
Join us for this special opportunity to come together as a community to explore the art of haiku. In this workshop, we will be listening to haiku, writing haiku and contemplating haiku as pathways to awakening to Dharma moments in our everyday experience. We will learn to take refuge in haiku themes of interconnectedness, impermanence, acceptance, and more. We will get a sense of how “wordless poems” can bring about healing and transformation in our lives and how to translate them into haiku. Whether you are interested in writing haiku as a creative expression or just cultivating a “haiku mind” to become more mindful, you are welcome to attend!
