Exploring the Paramis: Essential Qualities of a Wise Heart

Join us for a special event with our guest speaker, Karen Redding, who views the world creatively through the lens of the Dharma, and her camera. She will share her photographs as a compass to guide us on a reflective and interactive journey. We’ll explore the wisdom of the first two Paramis - the Generous Heart and the Ethical Heart. Along the way, we will discover regions of our own awakening hearts.

About our Guest Speaker

Karen Redding is a licensed clinical social worker and a psychoanalyst. She completed the Dedicated Practitioner’s Program at Spirit Rock and the Facilitator’s Training Program at InsightLA. She teaches Mindfulness-based classes, and facilitates a sitting-group at the OM Studio in Laguna Beach. Her photographic work, Travels Through Humanity has a social documentary focus on both contemplative themes and indigenous people throughout the world.
