Please join us for a daylong retreat where we will explore the profound wisdom of compassion, a central tenet in the Buddhist tradition. As we approach 2025, “The Year of Compassion,” designated in honor of the upcoming 90th birthday of the Dalai Lama, we will celebrate with Dharma teachings, meditation, poetry, and more. Our sound bath will include contemplative guidance as well as healing vibrations. We will discover ways to nurture and expand our capacity for compassion, through opening our hearts to all living beings, including ourselves.
Our retreat will take place at the Mary & Joseph Retreat Center and surrounding gardens. We will be meeting in the Main Chapel. There will be chairs available for sitting, or you may bring your cushions and benches for meditation. You may want to…
